Hey editors, I just had one more quick question about becoming an editor.

 

I applied a couple of months ago, and as I sorta expected, I haven't heard anything back yet. I fully understand that this is because there's a lot of sites/applications backlogged and editors are busy, and so on and so on.

 

However, I was starting to wonder if I could apply to become an editor of another category of interest to me?

 

I figure it could be months/years/decades before I hear back about the original category, but maybe this second category is a little more active and has a better chance of my application getting reviewed sooner?

 

Would there be any problems with this? Just curious and looking to become an editor of some category of interest to me.

Yes there would because editors aren't allowed multiple accounts. Once your first application is accepted, you'll be able to request further permissions internally.
