I have a question/issue. In a category on http://chefmoz.org/ there are two domains of which one is redirecting to a subdomain on the other. So the same domain is listed twice, for example:

title1 http://www.a.com/

title2 http://www.b.com/

and b.com redirects to sub.a.com (but the page on the subdomain is obviously part of and can be accessed through the same website)

Now I have informed the editor of this category weeks ago but no action whatsoever was taken (the category has not been changed since 2007).

I am wondering if this kind of links are allowed? It is extra frustrating for me because the editor has also not responded to a suggestion I submitted (and this sort of thing realy makes me wonder if he/she is not affiliated with that domain in some sort of way).

(I have not listed the actual category, domains and editor name because I do not want to make false aqusations before knowing what is allowed and what not)

Chefmoz has suffered a few setbacks, and is not as up to date as any of us would like.

The issue you describe is a mirror listing, and one of the two would normally be removed.

These usually come about either not double-checking for other urls before listing, or alternatively from a domain being taken over by another one, rather than by abuse.

:)

Thank you for not posting urls, editor name(s) or even categories - you can send these by forum feedback to a moderator (meta) on this forum - they will be logged and acted upon as soon as possible.

Thanks very much for your reply.

And sorry for not getting back on this earlier but I kind of lost where my question had gone (this was originally posted in another thread, where it didn't belong I guess).

I will send the specific details to a mod.
