jimnoble Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 There's an application for that category awaiting evaluation. Not the right user name but it's close enough that it's almost certainly yours.
kmorio Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Hi Jim, I was hoping you may be kind enough to check on the status of my application as well?? Please? I submitted an application, gosh, probably 6 months ago or longer. My web site name is <URL removed>. I would greatly appreciate any insight you may be able to lend. It has been an uphill battle trying to get my site noticed in the major search engines. Many, many thanks in advance for your time! Have a great day! Kelly Morio-Klaritch

kmorio Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Thank you! You're wonderful!!! I did go to the link you referred me to and it states that I should have received an email from DMOZ that I needed to reply to in order to keep the application moving forward? "immediately after submitting your application you should have received an e-mail asking you to confirm your e-mail address. If you did not receive this e-mail, check any spam or junk mail folders and filters that might have blocked the e-mail from arriving. Hotmail and Yahoo spam/junk mail filters have sometimes blocked e-mails from us. Your application will not even be in our system until you have replied to that confirmation e-mail." I never received an email from DMOZ asking me to confirm my email address after I submitted my application. I just resubmitted my application within the hour and still have not received any email from DMOZ asking me to confirm my email address. How do I confirm my address so I can have my application continue though the process? Thanks so very much!!! Kelly
