Perhaps because I only recently requested inclusion and I did originally request the Bristol category? My mistake. /images/icons/blush.gif/ I do believe the higher category is more approriate for my site (I have clients from London, Cornwall, with other enquiries from elsewhere in the UK). I also specify clearly on my site that my services are available to anyone in the UK. Comments? Thanks
totalxsive Posted July 1, 2002 Posted July 1, 2002 Re: Changing category - opinion please Due to the way that the UK categories work, your site was copied, rather than moved, to the UK level category, as it is eligable to be listed in both. It is currently waiting there for someone to review and add it.

On 18 June I requested an update for geographic category http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/England/Bristol/Business_and_Economy/Internet/Web_Design_and_Marketing/ and also a move from non-geographic category http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/Business_and_Economy/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/Designers/1/ to http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/Designers/Full_Service/1/, which is more appropriate given that many of my clients are from outside the UK. I noticed that the Bristol cat had been updated as requested a week ago. It's now back to the old domain. Could someone let me know status please. Thanks.
totalxsive Posted July 29, 2003 Posted July 29, 2003 Re: Status: http://www.1cog.com (domain change) The Bristol entry is still fixed on the back end, but not on the front end, which reverted to a snapshot from a few weeks ago. It will be fixed in due course and no action is required on your part. I can't tell you when because I don't know, and I don't think staff really know either. From what I gather, it is possible that you can have 3 listings in this case, so you may merely submit to the Full Service/1 category rather than ask for the site to be moved.

It is still waiting in Computers/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/Designers/Full_Service/1 and it won't be added to the other two you submitted it to.
