Can I change my current username to my real name?

It was my mistake that I thought declaring all of my professional existence will clear up the transparency, and I could learn here through queries without hiding my profession. But somehow I feel it was not necessary to register my username by my profession.

So I want to stop using this username and come back to the forum with my real name as in username.

I am looking for the kind response of the Forum Admins.

In common with most forums, we don't permit user name changes or second accounts.

Here I have got a double situation. I want to close my profile which is bearing my professional identity, because I tried to be honest by revealing that Web Development is my profession, but I have been blamed by ODP Senior Editors for it.

When I applied to become an Editor with my original name and with hotmail id, my applications got rejected without any reviewer comment. And when I used my professional email id with my professional domain, I have been blamed.

So I prefer to close this userid.

If honorable Administrators prefer to ban me from here, then too OK. There is no fruit to appeal for anything. :(

We won't allow you to change your user name at this forum or open a second account. So far, there's no reason to ban your account.

I do worry, as if the Meta Editors & Administrators may consider my every post with business intended as because I got this from ODP mail. :(

Well, my member status has been changed to Advanced Member. I am confused about it.

That is just because of the number of posts you have made. A standard feature of the suftware used on the forum

Your identity and actions here have no relation with your actions to become an editor. Nor do your actions to become and editor have a realtion with your id and actions here on R-Z.

I will not answer PM or emails send to me. If you have anything to ask please use the forum.

Thanks pvgool.

I would like to ask, whether I can ask my further questions too in under this topic or I need to create another descriptive topic?

The "advanced member" group came standard with this forum software, it's not something we normally use and was overlooked when we installed the new software. I've removed that feature so all non-editors are members.

You came online and removed the feature. When it was removed, you and me were online in the forum.http://www.resource-zone.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif
