Glitch?

I submitted an application on 11/6 which was rejected for valid reasons and I got the email about the rejection within 1 day. I submitted a new application on 11/8 and never heard back (it's been over 6 weeks now) so I assumed it was rejected but just didn't get an email about that. Today I went to reapply and after filling in the application and clicking the submit button, the error message that came up said I can't submit more than 1 application at a time. Is it possible that this is a glitch in the system? How can I get this sorted out?

Not a glitch, just the system working correctly in the face of impatience. Please read the announcement at the top of this forum which explains why elapsed times for processing editor applications are currently longer than we would wish.
