Newbie + DMOZ Vision for 2020

Hello and a Happy New Year to all!

 

I am new to DMOZ, joined today in fact and I am enjoying reading the posts on the forum and the DMOZ blog.

 

I was particularly interested in the Blog posting by the editor-in-chief from January last year (http://blog.dmoz.org/2010/01/29/dmoz-a-decade-in-review/) about where DMOZ is headed in the future. Nearly one year on from that post, I am curious to know what progress has been made on getting DMOZ closer his vision for 2020? It would be nice to have an update and perhaps another blog post from Mr. Bob Keating.
