I have a project where I'd like to have one category (about 2300 links) in a CSV file, where I'll make a program to search the CSV.

I've been searching for days, I don't know how to use perl or java which most of the tools are made, and there's no documentation to say if I can parse just one category with them. I found Extreme dmoz extractor, which looked great but is depreciated. What other options are there?

Cheers,

Bob

I have once seen a tool that would present one category (or a number of selected categories) on a website. Problem is that I can not remember its name.

I have never seen a tool that can extract a selection of categories to a database or csv.

I know that there are thoughts about creating tools (by AOL/DMOZ) that would make such things possible. But I do not expect them to be available soon.

I will not answer PM or emails send to me. If you have anything to ask please use the forum.

Thanks, I couldn't find any suitable tools in that link.

It seems so many people use the ODP data, but I don't understand what for or how.
