I encountered the following issues I wanted to bring to your attention:

 

 

URL Changed. Link on landing page to new URL.

 

- Custom made packers, ropers, logging and western boots. Pictures and descriptions. No online ordering capability.

 

 

Incorrect Category. The category is Idaho but the company address and phone number listed at the bottom of the home page is Michigan.

 

- Manufacturers of the worlds first knot tying stainless steel fishing leader. Pictures, tips, links.

Hijacked Link. Link hijacked to a telephone equipment distrubitors site.

 

- Providing web site design, internet marketing, domain hosting and business phone systems throughout Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and California. Site includes service details and contact information.

 

 

Incorrect Category. Category is Idaho but the address and phone number listed on the landing page are in Kansas.

 

- Offering PC hardware and software support, contract programming, eBook publishing, and computer maintenance.

 

 

Incorrect Category. Category is Idaho but the address and phone number listed on the landing page are in Houston, Texas.

 

- Offering graphics design, Flash animation, JavaScript, CGI scripts, and e-commerce.

Hijacked Link. Different agency and completely completely different agent.

 

 

- Full service Realtor offers online listings of land and homes for sale in Coeur D'Alene and also home guides.

 

 

Parking Page.

 

- Services the greater Coeur d'Alene area and specializes in residential properties. Includes property listings, agent profile and community information.

 

 

Hijacked Link. Same guy who hijacked the 2nd entry from top.

 

- Features city facts, biography, online home listings and guides for homeowners.

Items 3521 and 3522 are probably still open. These may take some work, the formatting of them isn't very friendly.

@ aaleksanyants – 100apps.com is a hijack. I don’t find that it was ever listed in the directory, but possibly it is redirecting from another listing. Where is the listing you are referencing (title-category-listed URL)?

 

Software/Directories is a general category software products/sites that offer a large mix and would not easily fit into a more defined subcategory. The Software/Shareware/Directories category is specific to Shareware (so the majority of products/sites listed should be for shareware). I found a couple duplicates between the two, but not “lots”. Also, from what I can see, submissions are accepted into both categories.

Follow Up on Changed URL's

 

#3577 – Done – Thanks for the new School URL’s !

 

Finding those URL's was sufficiently painful for me that I didn't want to put an editor through similar pain so, I provided the URL's.

 

In general. when encountering site's whose URL's have changed, if a link to the new URL is obviously located on a landing page, I just make mention of it since an editor can easily copy it while clicking through the link to verify the URL has in fact changed and that the new URL is the same site, just at a different address.

 

Is this ok or, do you prefer that all new URL's be provided?
