These are not porn or dead links but....19 listings? Much of this site merely consists of content lifted from other sites, mine included.

It's an html page with a .asp file extension. It doesn't work with a standards compliant browser, but it displays just fine with IE.

 

Oh, and we'd much appreciate it if you'd give us the title of the dmoz listing. It makes it about three steps easier to find, especially in a category with a lot of listings.

Maybe I'm just not looking hard enough or cleverly enough, but I'm not finding another dmoz listed page that's identical to http://www.croatia-1.com/biograd/framehome.asp . If you know of one, please let us know and we'll investigate.

 

To make that investigation as easy as possible, we'd appreciate it if you'd format your request to include the title as given on the dmoz category page, like this:

I do not have privs in that category, but it seems that webterrace.com has a number of listings in that category.

 

For future reference, please include the title of the listing you're reporting as well as the other information you did provide. To save another editor some searching time, the name of the listing in question is "Diet Tips and Tricks."

 

Of course, I'm using Mozilla Firefox and I don't see any pop-ups. Let's see what it looks like in Infernal Exploder...

 

Ick. Well, there's nothing here that would prevent a listing in ODP. While annoying, pop-ups are not a legitimate reason to delete a listing. (There are some exceptions, like if they were for porn websites.)

 

The multiple listings in the same category, however, are something that should be looked into.

Thanks - I actually did list the title, Diet Tips and Tricks, but placed it after the url and didn't think to enclose it in quotes or otherwise make it stand out. Next time I'll make it more obvious or call it the Title in the first place.

I mentioned it because my browser was hijacked immediately thereafter, and I'm a very cautious surfer so I thought that link caused it. As I mentioned, I did not go back to be sure - which perhaps I should have. I know that popups or unders are okay in and of themselves.

 

You guys are right on top of this forum. Great job.

A few Dead links in Videography

 

While Browsing through the Wedding Videography area:

I noticed a few dead links or sites that didn't return a request.

 

Accel Video

 

acclaim productions

 

Barnhill Galyan Productions indexed directory without content

 

Backyard Productions has closed and is directing to other sites...

 

Best Video, page not found

 

Classic Video Services returns an error

 

Creekside Productions doesn't return a page

 

A Diamond Wedding doesn't return a page

 

Elements Video doesn't return a page

 

Five by Five Multimedia returns a Vhost error

 

Heartfelt Media Productions content error, ATT error page

 

Hollywood FX Productions needs to be updated to root domain name, currnet link goes to an old page.

 

Houston Professional Wedding Videography tries to install software upon load and then directs to a 403 error page.

 

Impact Images Video Productions - Colorado Wedding Video has been "deactivated" according to the error page

 

Karen McKenney Videographer returns an Index page error

 

Love Moments Video does not return a page

 

Merlin Production Ltd gave me a virus...

 

Mills Videography redirects to a hosting company
