trlblazer Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 On the editor application it requests that I list the URLs for two or three websites that I would consider good candidates for inclusion in my chosen catagory. I assume the intent is for me to find two or three websites from the internet that I would consider good candidates. What if the site owner doesn't want his/her website listed in DMOZ? Is this going to create a problem?
jimnoble Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Websites in the public domain are, um, in the public domain. We list worthwhile websites whether their owners want us to or not. Three examples would be better than two (and there's no need for you to contact their owners at all). If you haven't done so already, I suggest that you take a look at the good advice in the FAQ and General Advice thread.
