bid Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Hi there, I have submitted some blogs from a very important organization in Latin America and I need to know what is the next step after submitted the sites. How long does it take in order for the Dmoz.org team to approve them? Please let me know becasue I need to give them the status of this project and I don't have any clue of where is the content, how can I check it, how can I edit it if we need it, and when is going to be online. Thanks a lot in advance for your help, Monica
jimnoble Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Some volunteer will process your listing suggestion in time but we can't predict who or when that might be. Elapsed times can range from a few days to a few years. There is no need to re-suggest your website and doing so could be counter-productive because a later suggestion overwrites any earlier one. We don't provide a way for you to enquire about or expedite progress. Once listed, we do provide a way for you to suggest changes to the listing.
stdonexus Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 Hope you aren't waiting half a decade and left wondering if your website was rejected for some unbeknownst reason.
jimnoble Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 ..and left wondering if your website was rejected for some unbeknownst reason No reason to wonder. Anybody can self check whether or not their website is listable. The only other reasons for declining a website would be attempted bribery and spamming.

My site meets all the requirements, I don't spam, and I don't even know who one would contact with an attempted bribery.
