Gnoll Posted June 5, 2011 Posted June 5, 2011 Hello, I don't want to keep people thinks I'm crying here. But my site nearly be 2 years old. And still i don't know why DMOZ not looking at my site. After opening my site i waited nearly 6 months ( i said I'm too new they accept quality sites ) after that time i decided "Its time..." and sent my site under "Games > Video Games > Massive Multiplayer Online" Then i looked some sites listed under that category... (I thought maybe i'm using wrong category but saw TenTonHammer there which is same as my site) I don't think DMOZ editors looking sites forums to judge because my forum was in Turkish language for some time. Now we setup an add-on to make it for both English/Turkish. From day 0 i used English as main language in my main-page. Thank you Antes
motsa Posted June 5, 2011 Posted June 5, 2011 I'm afraid all you can do is wait for an editor to review your site. We can't say how long that might take.
Meta pvgool Posted June 6, 2011 Meta Posted June 6, 2011 .... sent my site under "Games > Video Games > Massive Multiplayer Online" .... my forum was in Turkish language for some time. Now we setup an add-on to make it for both English/Turkish. From day 0 i used English as main language in my main-page. If a website is in the Turkish language it should have seen suggested to World/Turkish instead of to Games. I guess you meant Games/Video_Games/Roleplaying/Massive_Multiplayer_Online/ The Turkish category is World/Türkçe/Oyunlar/Video_Oyunları/Rol_Yapma/Devasa_Çok_Oyunculu_Çevrimiçi_Oyunlar/ We only list a website under a language if the content is realy in that language. Using and add-on as you wrote is not a real translation. A website will not be rejected for being suggested to the wrong category. An editor will just move it to the right language, something that might have happened to the website you suggested (it also might still be waiting review in the English category). I will not answer PM or emails send to me. If you have anything to ask please use the forum.
Gnoll Posted June 7, 2011 Author Posted June 7, 2011 Thanks for answers but we are mainly using English at our main-page <URL removed> our forum has add-on to change all board names to based on language that's why we are using English. Edit : by the way we are not using an add-on uses G-Translate, visit <URL removed> to see it better.
