Search results for listed site

Our website <url removed> has been listed in DMOZ directory under

Business-> Investing-> Commodities and Futures-> Forex -> Research and Analysis for over one and a half years but till now if we search for it in the directory, it never shows as the search result.

 

I had sent an email in late 2009 about this issue and had received the following reply on 11/11/2009:

 

"Our search works from a database dump, not the live directory, and can be a week or so out of date. If you can see your site when you browse to the category page, it's listed. I do not have an ETA on when the next "dump" will occur."

 

... but till now nothing has change. Any suggestion/comments/solutions, please?

You've really gotten the only reply we can give you. If you see your site listed in the directory, then I would recommend not worrying about whether or not it shows up in the search. People rarely come to dmoz.org to search for sites -- it's a directory and so is meant to be browsed, not searched.
