How long does it take?

Hi all,

 

I can't remember exactly when I submitted my site, but I'm sure it was at least 4 weeks ago and probably closer to 6.

 

But it is still not listed....

 

It's a high quality, genuine site so I can't think that it would not have been approved. Is there any way to find out what is happening with it?

Hi Glyn,

We are a volunteer organization, and don't work to a timetable or schedule, as editing is a hobby activity.

Delays for review of a suggested site vary from the negative (as in the site is reviewed and listed before it is suggested) to several years (this more often in spam prone categories).

The easiest way to follow it's "progress" would be to use an automated service such as Google Alerts...

You can also become part of the solution by volunteering to become an editor yourself.
