Becoming an Editor

I have asked on becoming an editor for the category: http://www.dmoz.org/World/Hebrew/%D7%9E%D7%97%D7%A9%D7%91%D7%99%D7%9D/%D7%90%D7%99%D7%A0%D7%98%D7%A8%D7%A0%D7%98/%D7%A2%D7%99%D7%A6%D7%95%D7%91_%D7%95%D7%91%D7%A0%D7%99%D7%99%D7%AA_%D7%90%D7%AA%D7%A8%D7%99%D7%9D/%D7%A7%D7%99%D7%93%D7%95%D7%9D_%D7%90%D7%AA%D7%A8%D7%99%D7%9D/

That was around two months ago. I did not get any reply. I do believe this category has no editor and I don't see any reason why new editors shouldn't be evaluated. I believe that I will fit the job perfectly as to your requirements and standards.

It's more than likely that your application hasn't been reviewed yet as apart from some past problems, we don't have many reviewing editors fluent in Hebrew... To help us check it's status, do you remember the editor name you used for the application?

I know that the mail address was <email removed> editor name must be Shlomo Yariv or Eitan Yariv as both Shlomo and Eitan are recorded as my first name.

Yariv is my surname. Does this make sense?

I've searched other permutations of your sparse info but I can't find any more recent applications from you.

 

I suggest that you try again - and keep a record of the date, category and editor name.

I have just looked in my inbox and saw that my application was really filled very long ago. I got a no-reply mail at Jan 24. (To validate email)

I don't know why jimnoble says that the application is no longer awaiting evaluation. I can still see it, and no action has been taken.

 

The good news is that means it has not been declined. You should not apply again until you hear from us.
