Hello all members of DMOZ.

 

I have been searching through a lot of topics recently, and i have noticed many webmasters complain over,

 

1- 'Dmoz does not submit my site. It is not worth it!'

2- 'I have been trying to submit my site for many many years now, Why is it not getting submitted..'

 

My answer to the first Question is,

 

Why do you submit your site to Dmoz then? If you think it's not worth it, do not submit, it is as simple as that.

 

To the second which has also been brought upon by webmasters,

 

If i were you, i would have looked for alternative ways to increase my positioning in Google, or any other search engine for this matter.

A few days ago, i was watching 'Google webmaster's' videos on Youtube, the thing i learned from it was that, whether you get a link from Dmoz, with a.. lets say Page rank 3, or any other website, that relates to your content, with a Page rank of 3, the results will be the same, Watch it here

 

Conclution

Stop bothering these Administrators and Editors, with these silly type of question.

Learn to Find a new path, to increase your website rankings.

And be happy with what you can achieve to the maximum.

 

I am just a regular member like you guys, and wanted to discuss it with you people.
