Hi,

 

I applied to be an editor of:

http://www.dmoz.org/Regional/Middle_East/Turkey/Provinces/Aydin/Districts/Didim/Business_and_Economy/Real_Estate/

in July 2011 and I received an email acknowledgement on 08/07/11 which I activated, but I haven't heard anything since. Can you trace my application and let me know what's happening please?

An email would have been sent so you might want to whitelist all mail from dmoz.org in your spam filters.

Thanks very much for that, I really appreciate it. It may help others to know why my application was refused. I thought I was being upfront in including my own website as one of those I would suggest be added to the directory. This in itself would not have been a problem except that I only suggested one other site. The requirement is for 2 or 3 sites to be put forward, and also that at least 2 of them should not be affiliated to the applicant. Had I suggested one more I may have been successful. Now that I know I will try again!!
