Would someone from dmoz be so kind as to tell me the status of the submission of this URL. Normally I would wait the full six months (honest) but my current employment consists of promoting the site as well as designing it! Therefore, forewarning is appreciated if a listing isnt likely then I can start looking for another job :(

PS. tonebase not listed and never likely to be due to its lack of unique content as pointed out by your kind selves (grovel!)

We can not do status checks right due, as you will see if you read the posting in the submission status thread.

However a quick glance at the site indicates to me that it is not listable in the ODP due to it being what is known as a Fraternal Mirror of clothes2order.com

www.polo-shirts.co.uk was created because clothes2order.com is built using frames and is not good for search engines such as google.

Therefore clothes2order.com is not the site being promoted within the search engines.

As a company, clothes2order.com supply unique content and wish to be listed in dmoz.

Are you saying that clothes2order.com could be listed? Or are you saying that neither could be listed as they are both mirrors of each other?

Your help is much appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Glenn

The central content-containing domain should be submitted to dmoz - if that's clothes2order then submit that. The ODP doesn't concern itself with how well you've optimised your content for search engines, rather we just consider the content available on the site.

For the record, frames pages can work perfectly well in Google - make sure you have your sitemap in the no frames content of your frameset and use a bit of javascript to force a page that comes up in Google results to load in the frameset rather than as an orphan page.
