masteraks Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 I apologize if this is not right category to post topic on. Most of the time when we receive an application rejected email, We are given a list of reasons on why our application got rejected ? and are told that there would be one or more possible reason among those reason for decline of our application. If we look at rejection email, we would find a "reviewer's comment" section at the end of email. In this section, the God(Reviewer) can put on his comment regarding why he/she rejected your application. Most of time we get this areas of email blank! and since It is blank we can't find our mistake and improve in that particular area(s). So, I want to know from Gods(Editors of course): Can we request reviewer's comment here on forum, if that section of our email is left blank ? This would be very helpful for all beginner editors. Thanks! username: kingavineshsingh
jimnoble Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 No you can't. If the reviewer didn't leave any specific reasons, the problems are already covered by the list of common reasons and one or more of them will apply. Before you submit your next application, I suggest that you evaluate it yourself against that list. Diagnostic skills are a valuable asset to editors .
masteraks Posted October 31, 2012 Author Posted October 31, 2012 Yeah, that's true. Diagnostic and Analyzing are important tools of editors
