I submitted an application on April 12th and have yet to receive any reply with regards to the outcome.

Please can someone update me?

What do you mean by this? I am not an editor yet. Unless I haven't been told that my application has been approved or given any login details.

Is nobody reviewing my category anymore?

The Meta editors are the only ones who can evaluate editor applications.

Meta's are not bound to any category, they can work in the whole of DMOZ and can review all applications.

But ... just like all editors they are volunteers. When and where they spend their time is something they decide themself.

Some will limit themself to certain languages others will only look at applications related to certain subjects.

Although we try to evaluate applications as soon as possible it sometime happens that people have to wait a few weeks and sometimes months.

Being patient is something that each editor needs to be.
