Applied an year ago, no reply yet

While going through mails, I found that I had applied for Editor on November 1, 2012 to which I have not got any reply.

 

I forgot my username, but email address through which I registered at this forum is the email which I used in my application. Please assist me.

It's confirm, 'masterak' is not the username through which I applied the application. Actually I applied application with that username, but was rejected so I re-applied to which I haven't got any reply, since an year.

 

I only remember email, which I think is not allowed here to share as pure text, so informing that the email through which I registered at this forum is the email which I used for application.

Please see why I didn't got any reply. I hope I won't hear "Please apply again" because of a technical problem(if any). I waited for more than a year and don't want to hear after so many days that I should apply again because my application vanished due to technical error.

 

I waited for a year because we are generally said here - Editors and Reviewers of DMOZ are just volunteers, so there is no fix time, you can get approved within hours or it can take months. Accepting it, I waited for 12 months and looks like it was waste, because my application didn't actually reached here, I don't know how ? I got verification mail too, still ?

 

Please assist me, if nothing can be done, I request you to re-review my already submitted(and rejected) application.

As Jimnoble already wrote we only have those 3 applications for that emailaddress.

and they were all 3 denied

there is no option to reopen them

 

Looking at more applications you have made I noticed that you have been told on November 1st, 2012 that we advise you not to apply again. That is nothing to be worried about. It just means that DMOZ meta's decided that you and DMOZ do not match. We wish you all the best in your other activities on the web.

Was it so ? I am so sorry for giving you pain, my mistake that I forgot to check reviewer's comment in previous mail. But, just for sake of curiosity, why and how often people are asked not to apply again ? And what if person really wants to ? Thank you for understanding.

Also please tell when I was asked to not to apply again ? Because I saw all the emails once again and reviewer's comment sections is blank.

As with most forums, having multiple accounts here is forbidden. Your aksthegeek account has now been merged with the original masteraks one.

 

Some people are unsuitable to become editors and, as masteraks, you were told very clearly that you are one of them and that you should not apply again. That didn't stop you from doing so however.
