Reinstate account

Hello,

 

I have a problem with reinstating my account. I used to be an editor at DMOZ, but due to work-related changes I became inactive. Furthermore, I do not have access anymore to the e-mail address I used to register at DMOZ. The problem now is, that if I want to be reinstated, I need access to my previous e-mail adress (and of course I am not allowed to make another account).

 

I'd like to get back as an active editor at DMOZ, but since I asked in November 2013 for reinstatement, I can't seem to get access to my account. Is there any way you can help me?

Of course, I should've mentioned that my editor name is RefleXs.

Editor names are _always_ lower case and so yours is actually reflexs

 

I can find no evidence that you've ever requested reinstatement. If you try again, be sure to use the correct editor name without upper case characters.

I tried, but somehow it keeps mentioning that username / password is incorrect. As I don't have access anymore to the e-mail adress I used to register, it is impossible to use the reinstatement request form.

I think I do not remember the correct password anymore, but cannot use the forgot password link.

 

Can you somehow change the e-mail adress, so that I can get a new login and request reinstatement?

That you've forgotten some of your login details or you no longer have access to your original email account are merely stumbling blocks, not show stoppers.

 

Please contact me via http://www.dmoz.org/public/sendemail?editor=jimnoble (Don't use any other method) with as much corroborative information as you can such as:-

 

Approximate date joined

Editor name (but not password)

Real Name

Original email address

Joining category

Additional categories gained

Roughly how many edits done

Approximate date of leaving and the circumstances

 

Convince me that you are who you say you are and I can reset your email address of record to one that works today. This will make it possible for you to request a password reminder and complete a reinstatement request form at http://www.dmoz.org/docs/en/reinstate.html.
