I can find no reinstatement request for the editor with name cwardell,

not an open one and not a recently processed one

when did you make the request

and did you get a positive response

 

reinstatements are processed by volunteer editors just like anything in DMOZ, so they might take some time although we try to process them as quick as possible

I must have made the request (using the above link) on February 2nd or 3rd.

I got no response at all; neither positive nor negative.

It's not urgent. I'm happy to wait as long as the request is in the system.

Should I wait ... or should I just try again?

there is no reinstatement request for editor cwardell in our system

you will have to make a new one and this time be sure to check the screens while you make it that no error is encountered

I now get: Request not submitted, because

User does not exist, or username/password is incorrect.

 

My username was definitely: cwardell

I used the last PW that was valid.

 

When I try to reset PW I get "An email has been sent to your mailbox. Please check your email."

However, no message arrives. I have checked spam too.

Both addresses: <removed for your privacy> are still valid.

 

What do I do now?

I've sent you a feedback using the dmoz messaging system so we can ascertain if the mails being sent are arriving somewhere or being eaten...

problem solved (as far as we know)

please request for new password - email should be received within a few seconds (minutes at the most)

and then for reinstatement

Thanks ... have just tried again and got "An email has been sent to your mailbox. Please check your email." .... but still no email message. Will try again later,

when i tried it for myself I received the email within seconds

your email is the one you mentioned before on aon

I used the same email address and the newly assigned pw and I still get:

 

Request not submitted, because

User does not exist, or username/password is incorrect.

I have now repeated the whole process once again and finally got the message:

 

Reinstate Application Received

 

You will receive an email notification once your request has been reviewed and processed by a meta editor.
