Waiting since March 2013 for my site listing.

I am new here. I have submitted my site to DMOZ more than a year ago. I am really concern about how long will it take. Is there anyone out there who can help me please. I am in a business since last 2 decade and now internet marketing is the only way to stay in business. I am struggling and someone recommended to publish my question here.

Hi Tahir,

We are volunteer run, and not a listing service; this makes it impossible to answer the "how long will it take" question. Some time in the future, a volunteer will review your suggestion, and possibly list it in the directory.

You really don't want to base your business plan on what volunteer editors building a directory will or won't do - rather move on to other aspects of promoting your site and maybe have a pleasant surprise from dmoz sometime in the future...

Me also Tired from This Thing Each Listing i Have Posted on Dmoz but Never Getting any Response is it Listed or Not.

You will never get a response as we do not send them.

You did get a confimation when you suggested the website that the suggestion was succesfull.

You can see for your self if the website is laready listed.

You can also check yourself if the website is of the kind we do not list (read the guidelines)

If a website is not listed and also is not of the kind we do not list than the only option that is open is that it is waiting review.

Time between suggestion and review can vary between a few days and several years.

There is never a reason to suggest a website more than once.
