unsure of my username

Well, hello!

 

I'd love to return to the community, but in the passing of time... have forgotten my username. Can someone be so kind to as to let me know which account is associated with the email address <removed for your privacy>?

We are also unsure of your username, as apart from two oldish applications (both declined), there's nothing associated with that email address...

Can you remember which category you were accepted to, and approximately when?

There has been an application from you (I am 99.99% sure it was you) for http://www.dmoz.org/Business/Employment/Job_Search/Seasonal in august 2010

and one for http://www.dmoz.org/Business/Employment/Job_Search/Entry_Level_and_Internships in december 2013

Both where rejected

I can find no evidence of you ever being an editor under your own name , email for any category

Nor under an other name for the categories you mentioned

 

I am very sure you have not been an editor before.

What pvgool said; you should have received the explanatory rejection letters at the time, but sometimes they go into spam.

If you want to try again chose something no bigger (and preferably smaller) than Entry Level and Internships as the area is a spammed one...

Consider white-listing the no-reply@dmoz.org address so you receive whatever emails we send...

My dilemma now is... How to reapply without knowing the username! Would it be possible for me to use another email? (Appreciate thats likely to come off as shady)

Just use the same username, or any other name you want. It does not matter.

Certainly use the same email, there is no open application which would prevent using it.
