Email confirmation?

I just applied to become an editor (username is nattystatty) but there was no confirmation email sent.

 

From what I understand there should have been one sent that contains a confirmation link I would have had to click on.

 

Just wanted to see if there is a delay with those and also make sure you received it. Thanks!

EDIT #2: I received a response to my application (thanks for the quick reply!) and was asked to not select a state-wide category and instead reapply for a smaller segment with under 50 listings. I just did this and selected one with just a single listing.

My initial application comments came from ODO Meta Editor SthenBelle and I did what was suggested and reapplied. Not sure if submitting again creates a duplicate application so I just wanted to let them know I resubmitted as suggested. Thanks!

Just wanted to drop back in with a follow up. I wanted to make sure the application was still pending and there weren't any email issues. When I first applied the response was almost immediate and I was told to pick a small category to start. Anyway, here is the required info:
