Editor reinstatement

I just applied to become an editor again. In the application I stated that i have previously been an editor many years ago. Real life came in the way and my editor account went dormant and closed.

 

Now i have no idea what my username was (i was trying arvek, but this was obviously not connected to any live email adress) or which of the many email adresses i have had during the years. That was the reason i reapplied instead of trying to get my old account activated.

 

The application reply mail said: "You indicated on your application form that you were previously an editor. The Open Directory Project allows just one editor account per person - no matter how long it's been since you were previously an editor. Please use the editor reinstatement form"

This is really hard to do, since i dont know the old username or the old emailadress used. Any help would be very appreciated.

Some more information to help identify the old account : The category I was editing was probably this (there has been some changes in the last 4-5 years i think):

World/Norsk/Data/Internett/Webdesign_og_-utvikling/Ressurser/

 

My username was probably some permutation of the name: akvaloy, arvek, arvekvaloy, arvkva (whatever was available on the time of sign up)

 

The mail adress was most probably arve.kvaloy(at)halogen.no (no longer in use).

 

So if any editors also have a calling as True Detectives and can have a look, i would be very happy

Thank you mollybdenum! That sure sounds like me. But i don't have the password and the email is no longer working. As far as I understand I need to login to have the email changed. Since I don't have the password I cant login and the password must be sent to the email address no longer working. Its a bit of a catch 22.....

That you've forgotten some of your login details or you no longer have access to your original email account are merely stumbling blocks, not show stoppers.

Real name

Editor name (but not password)

Roughly how many edits done
