Error while logging in

I am getting this error message when logging in:

 

User needs an email address verification before the user can login.

I never received a status for my application, so I don't know what it means?

Did you receive an acceptance letter? Are you sure that you are an editor?

No I never received any type of denial or confirmation. So I am not sure unfortunately.

I looked into this and couldn't find an accepted application for you

 

Are you trying for Recreation/Pets/Cats/Names? If so, you'll need to apply again, eventually using a different editor name if the system refuses. It is essential to receive a confirmation mail and click on the link therein for the application to be visible to the reviewers; you can ask about the editor application here, after two weeks.

When you apply to become an editor you will first receive an email to confirm that you exist, you must reply to this email

Only then is the application visisble for the meta editors.

When they made a decission (either to accept or deny) you will receive an email telling you what happened.

Only when you are accepted you will be able to login.

Our system knows about the application and will block the editorname and will not accept logins showing the message you encountered.
