Hi, I recently applied to become an editor but the application got rejected on the grounds of already having an editor account. Am shocked because this is my first application and no one else in my family knows about it. If an applicant answers "Yes" to the question if he has been an editor before, the application will be denied because it is not allowed to create multiple editor accounts.

No you did not. Maybe you choosed the wrong button. You have to make a new application if you want to apply again.
