Why can't I post to my existing thread?

I posted a thread about losing my log-in here and it says

(You have insufficient privileges to reply here.)

I think the email I was using on my editor account is an old one that I no longer have access to.

Maybe you tried to post in a thread that is in an editor only part of this forum.

As you no longer are an editor you will have no rights to post there.

Although the old email was totaly not one of those you mentioned I am convinced it is realy the owner of the editor account that wants the email changed.

I changed it to the one you requested and used to send me the email.
