Alucard Posted July 24, 2003 Posted July 24, 2003 I'm afraid I'm not going to tell you what you should put on your site. For one thing, chances are I'm not going to be the reviewing editor, and so my opinion counts no more than anyone else's who has read the ODP guidelines for what constitues a listable site. I would recommend you read through those, but here are some things that do NOT count as unique content: * Affiliate links * a list of non-affiliate links (we could list those in the directory ourselves) * material which is readily available from another site (either copied word-for-word or paraphrased) When an editor reviews that site, in their mind, they "block out" all of that, and see what the site has to offer once that is gone. If what is left seems useful to a surfer, then the site is more likely to get approved than if it's not. I hope this helps.
