amzoun95 Posted February 10, 2019 Posted February 10, 2019 I find it to be useless, now, too. In 2002, when I got my first site in there, I did get a good amount of traffic from DMOZ. Now I have three sites in there, and all three combined don't add up to ten visitors a day. I think that link may have helped a little bit in pushing them up in the rankings, but not a whole lot - it's not the magic link that many make it out to be.
Meta informator Posted February 10, 2019 Meta Posted February 10, 2019 Yes, you are absolutely correct - dmoz/curlie are useless from the perspective of driving traffic to your site. The good thing is that it was never intended to be a tool for traffic/ranking. 1 Curlie (Dmoz) Meta editor informator
