brmehlman Posted September 15, 2003 Posted September 15, 2003 Staff has reported that the problems where an editor login was required for publicly available scripts (suggest a site, reinstate an editor, etc.) should now be fixed.
Guest jimdoc Posted September 20, 2003 Posted September 20, 2003 Reinstate An Editor still requires a password.
Guest JohnScott7000 Posted September 21, 2003 Posted September 21, 2003 I was just browsing Business/Marketing_and_Advertising/Internet_Marketing/ and it denied access saying I wasn't logged in...
xixtas01 Posted September 22, 2003 Posted September 22, 2003 Did it say "access denied" or did it bring up a login box?
Guest egolfing Posted September 22, 2003 Posted September 22, 2003 I was trying to click on US link from the homepage and received the following message: ERROR The requested URL could not be retrieved -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- While trying to retrieve the URL: http://editors.dmoz.org:8081/Regional/North_America/United_States/ The following error was encountered: Access Denied. Access control configuration prevents your request from being allowed at this time. Please contact your service provider if you feel this is incorrect. xixtas01 Posted September 22, 2003 Posted September 22, 2003 That error is somewhat different from the logon error discussed earlier in this thread and has been reported to staff. We do not have a time estimate for resolution of this issue. We appreciate your desire to help and bringing it to our attention.
