Applied 5 months ago and still waiting....

Back in March 2002 I applied to be the editor of Computers/Internet/Internet_Fax/ . I completed the entire process, including responding to the verification email. It's been 5 months and I have yet to receive an acceptance or rejection notification.

 

Would any Meta Editors please advise me on the status of my application, or suggest steps to take?
