Guest Posted August 16, 2002 Posted August 16, 2002 Hi, We submitted a Travel Forum in the following category http://dmoz.org/Recreation/Travel/Travelogues/Asia/India/ But it shows no activity after 10 June, so when we can hope that our website (http://www.rajasthantravelguide.com/forum) will be added. Suggestion needed. Thanks
Meta hutcheson Posted August 16, 2002 Meta Posted August 16, 2002 This reminds me of that little slogan that the mutual funds used to put in tiny letters at the end of the prospectus: "past performance is no guarantee of future earnings." It's the same here. What you should worry about is not the last three months, but the next month -- that is, the "next date to be edited" tag, which for some technical reason can't be displayed (at least according to the staff programmer.) So: don't worry about what you do see. Submit the site to the right category, wait three or four weeks, ask about it in the "Submittal status" forum.
Meta windharp Posted August 16, 2002 Meta Posted August 16, 2002 I agree with hutcheson. Giving an example why: Imagine that in a large category I would review 5 entries every single day, but in the same time 10 new submissions arrive... Apparantly there will be a huge backlog soon, which would need several months to work through. Just checked the mentioned category and had a look into unreviewed queue. If I subtract spam there are less than 15 entries waiting for review. So when someone walks in there to clean, I'm pretty sure he/she will process your site, too. Curlie Meta/kMeta Editor windharp
