Guest ganderatc Posted July 28, 2003 Posted July 28, 2003 Re: Dates I'm for the international 2003-07-28. This dd/mm/yy thing is confusing to me.

pudsey Posted September 3, 2003 Posted September 3, 2003 Re: Dates Oh come on people - get a grip with reality, does it really matter what date is showing?? Shouldnt you be editing instead?
specht Posted January 12, 2005 Posted January 12, 2005 does it really matter what date is showing?? I'm sorry: yes it does. In the german forum just were some confusions about 10-01-2004 and the 6-month-period, although we know the right order. It is easily recognised as 10th of January because of old german date which is dd.mm.yyyy. It doesn't make a good impression to the submittors if the are different statements of the editors - only because they accidentally overlooked the right order of the date format :o The call of the PHP date funtion for YYYY-MM-DD is date("Y-m-d" [, int timestamp]); Please refer to http://php.net/manual/function.date.php Thank you. Discussion also in http://resource-zone.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=12095 with more suitable title.
