Resubmitting is not doing you to well. Every new submissions overwrites any old one already in the queue. If the editor decides to edit sorted by date of submission, it'll never get reviewed this way :-)

Anyway: There are 80 submissions waiting in the category you mentioned, yours too. Please be patient, it can take some time till an editor finds the time to review those entries.

Waiting for review, along with amost 100 other sites.

The usual caveat: resubmitting does nothing but push the site to the back of the line (for those editors that do sites in chronological order.)

So if you resubmit you get thrown to the back of the "inbox" for that category?

Also there is no editor for this category, should I go to the next level up and attempt to contact that person?

Thanks for all the help, I really appreciate it.

You can try to contact the editor. I don't want to stop you, and in fact the submittal guidelines suggest it. It probably won't hurt.

But it may not help, either: editors are volunteers, and we can't obligate them to answer e-mail. (In fact, it's generally not recommended: you know how the cliche--the schizoid axe-murderers and sea-lawyer stalkers in the website promotion business are ruining the reputation of the other 1%.)

Don't submit to categories above where you started, but by all means after, say, 6 weeks send feedback to the editor in the category above. However, please note that editors are under NO obligation to personally respond to such feedback. Personally I would wait 6 weeks, then ask again in this thread (no need to start a new one) if you see no change.
