I recently submitted http://www.headfirsthandsfree.com to the following category: http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/Business_and_Economy/Shopping/Consumer_Electronics/Communications/Wireless/Accessories/ and would appreciate it if someone could advise if it is still in the queue to be reviewed or if it has been rejected.

If it is still in the queue how long should I wait before I pick a different category to speed matters up?

Thanks for your prompt reply. How long should one wait for a category to be looked at before they consider submitting to another category which may be less suitable but will at least be quicker e.g. a local category?

I can't see any contact details on your site, so I can't see why you would be able to get a listing in a local part of the directory.

Note that submitting to any category just because said category has a faster review turnaround won't get your site listed faster: your site will just be re-sent to the most appropriate category, pending review. There is no way to "speed matters up", and a site should be submitted to (and can be listed in) the most suitable category only.
