Guest Posted September 11, 2002 Posted September 11, 2002 Hello, could please someone give me the status of the domains: 1) www.sof-optoelectronics.com 2) www.sof-e.com We have registered these under: 1) http://dmoz.org/Business/Industries/Electronics_and_Electrical/Distributors_and_Wholesalers/Components/ - the registration was done with the domain www.sof-o.com which is shorter but only a forwader (perhaps this is the problem??) 2) http://dmoz.org/Business/Industries/Manufacturing/Machinery_and_Tools/Furnaces,_Incinerators,_Kilns/ Thanks for your help Bernd
uzs980 Posted September 11, 2002 Posted September 11, 2002 As I am not an editor for this part of the directory, I cannot see whether the applications you mentioned are in the unreviewed queue; but if they are, they haven't been touched yet. Your sites http://www.sof-optoelectronics.com/ and http://www.sof-optoelectronics.de/ both also were submitted to Business/Electronics_and_Electrical/Optoelectronics/Vendors. These applications were deleted because http://www.sof-optoelectronics.de/ is already listed in the German language part of the directory, World/Deutsch. I am not sure why the editor decided to do this: I can't fully navigate the English site with my Netscape 4.75 (it doesn't seem to accept blanks in file names, which are quite often in your site). But it seems to me that a lot of your links lead to pages with only German information. Maybe this was the reason why it wasn't listed in the English language part of the directory.

sundancerz Posted September 11, 2002 Posted September 11, 2002 the 2 sites listed redirect to 2 different sites. I can't check as to which one they go to cause that site keeps crashing my computer. I think it's the midi files in it, my puter don't like em. Try submitting the sites that those products redirect to. added Well the first url does all the redirecting, the second one seems to be ok. I'll check them out in the next day or so.

It didn't get listed, we don't list redirects.
