totalxsive Posted January 6, 2004 Posted January 6, 2004 A submission from November 13th is waiting there. If you submitted some time ago, but then resubmitted on this date than any previous submissions will have been overwritten.
outkast Posted January 6, 2004 Author Posted January 6, 2004 Thank you for your response. Yes, I did, resubmit on this date. I originally submitted it back in April. I again resubmitted it in July. And again in November. Are you saying that I am in the queue?
totalxsive Posted January 6, 2004 Posted January 6, 2004 You're in a pool of sites awaiting review, yes. There is no queue as such, in that the sites can be reviewed in any order.
outkast Posted January 7, 2004 Author Posted January 7, 2004 One additional question, I noticed that there was a link at the bottom of this category that says, "Volunteer to edit this category", does this mean there isn’t currently an editor? If that is the case, does this mean that although I am in a group of sites to be reviewed for this category that there isn’t anyone to review them?
Meta hutcheson Posted January 8, 2004 Meta Posted January 8, 2004 No, it never means that. Think of it as a hortatory address in the second person and the imperative mood. It's not talking about US. It's talking about YOU. You're not editing (yet), and this is a request to consider changing that state.
outkast Posted January 8, 2004 Author Posted January 8, 2004 LOL...right. I have considered it. I mean, with all of my spare time and all...but seriously. How much time do you need to devote to it on a daily basis?
Guest Posted January 8, 2004 Posted January 8, 2004 Minimum requirement: one edit every 4 months. Maximum: limited by your internet connection and time available.
outkast Posted January 23, 2004 Author Posted January 23, 2004 January 23rd. What is the standard waiting time for a submission submitted in November?
spectregunner Posted January 24, 2004 Posted January 24, 2004 Between two days and two years. As we have explained in the past, the editors are all volunteers and there is no way to schedule or determine when a given category or site will receive the attention of an editor.
outkast Posted April 2, 2004 Author Posted April 2, 2004 Is there an update? Between two days and two years. As we have explained in the past, the editors are all volunteers and there is no way to schedule or determine when a given category or site will receive the attention of an editor. Is there an update? Any idea when we will get in?

outkast Posted August 31, 2004 Author Posted August 31, 2004 Almost Halloween now...any updates? Are we almost in yet?
donwiebe Posted September 4, 2004 Posted September 4, 2004 There's been no change in status: it's still awaiting review in [cat=Computers/Hardware/Used]Computers: Hardware: Used[/cat]. If you don't see it listed ometime in the next six months, please feel free to return for a status update on or after 4 March. The site was resubmitted late last month; please avoid doing this in future, as it does not speed review times, but makes more work for our editors.
