Guest Posted September 13, 2002 Posted September 13, 2002 I have twice over the last 9 months submitted www.storyaboutme.com for open directory inclusion to the http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Publications/Books/Children/Personalized/ category. As of yet, my listing has not been included, can you please give me a status on this. Thanks
Meta windharp Posted September 13, 2002 Meta Posted September 13, 2002 Has been listed in february, but a bug that occurred by that time made some listings (including yours) invisible. I just applied the bugfix and it should be corrected in some minutes. Thanks for asking Curlie Meta/kMeta Editor windharp
Guest Posted September 26, 2002 Posted September 26, 2002 Windharp I inquired about my listing for www.storyaboutme.com on 9/13/02, you replied that there was some kind of bug that made it invisible, you corrected the problem and the listing did appear for a day or two but now seems to have vanished again. Can you please look into this for me.
Meta windharp Posted September 26, 2002 Meta Posted September 26, 2002 That looks weird. I never had this in this form. I'll have a look into it today and if I cant figure out why it is like this, I'll have a look if staff wants to check on this. I never saw revived listings disappear again... Anyway I made me a note to refix this one soon. Thanks for reporting (and for reusing the old thread - makes it easy to spot the problem) Edited to Add: Please understand that fixing the general bug seems more important to me than fast recovery of your listing. I don't know if this problem is still visible to staff after fixing the entry, so I'll leave it as it is for some days. Curlie Meta/kMeta Editor windharp
Meta windharp Posted September 30, 2002 Meta Posted September 30, 2002 Found the reason. Seems there is an issue that forces you to explicitly update the public page for the category after you applied the bugfix. Should be (and stay) visible now - Please revive this thread if something strange occurs to this entry again. Thanks for spotting it Curlie Meta/kMeta Editor windharp
