Guest Banbin Posted January 9, 2004 Posted January 9, 2004 As there are French and Spanish column as well as Danish one, I wonder if we could establish two more columns here in Chinese, one in simplified Chinese and the other in traditional one. I'm available at: carlyibin@hotmail.com (used as an MSN messenger) As there have been definitely a large amount of websites in Chinese, a Chinese column is increasingly needed to dealing with issues on submission. And I'm sure that both other Chinese guys and I are fully ready to help you with it if necessary.
motsa Posted January 9, 2004 Posted January 9, 2004 Questions relating to Chinese site suggestions can currently be submitted to the Non-English forum. New forums are created based on demand and availability of a meta editor to moderate it.

Guest Banbin Posted January 12, 2004 Posted January 12, 2004 Thanks all the same. I hope that there will be some Chinese meta coming up. What I mean is to set up two more columns here in Chinese, one for simplified Chinese and another for traditional Chinese. As Chinese characters and their coding are obviously different from other languages, It might be better to arrange it into a Chinese column sometime. In this way, it will not only allow them to feel free in communicating in Chinese, but also allow non-Chinese speakers to skip it over.
Meta hutcheson Posted October 17, 2004 Meta Posted October 17, 2004 For now, post in the "Other Languages" thread. Post in Chinese -- simplified or traditional. When the number of posts in a language gets high enough AND when a meta-editor volunteers to moderate, then we set up a new forum. That will happen automatically, there is no need to ask for it, and no point in asking for it.
