Can you tell me tentative time frame?

Anyway, Thanks for quick reply

No, it's impossible for us to give out timeframes, since it depends very heavily on when one of our volunteer editors reviews the site.

Thanks for quick response Alucart,

Why are you afraid? :)

It's not edited since 29th May of last yerar, should I submit once again? or wait until next category update?

Just a figure of speech, sorry. Just a way of apologising.

No, please do not resubmit - this will only overwrite your previous submission - it won't get the site reviewed any quicker, and it might make it take even longer.

There is really nothing more you can do, now, to make this go any quicker - you just need to be patient.

Thanks.

still waiting for status

You had a status check in April, we won't be giving you another one until late October. We have changed our policy on submission check updates. We will now only do them every 6 months as explained here.

Meanwhile you should follow Alucard's advice and try to be patient. There's nothing more you can do that will help (although plenty you can do that will hurt.)

Do not resubmit - it could quite possibly make your wait longer as resubmissions overwrite old ones and can make your submission go back to the bottom of the date sorted queue.

Do not wait until the next category update. You seem to think that we go through and do one category at a time and all the items in the queue will be done at once. That's not how we work.

We are all volunteers going at our own pace. Sometimes an editor will do one site a week, sometimes one a month, sometimes 10 every 6 months... but really it's none of those. It's fairly random.

No change in status.

You realize that you've been listed in [cat=Regional/Asia/India/Business_and_Economy/Computers_and_Internet/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/]India: Web Design and Development[/cat] for almost a year and half, now, don't you?

Thanks Arubin, for letting me the status.

Your answer is very defensive :) Yes, we are but is that mean we cannot list in another relevant category? ;)

I have seen lots of sites listed in more than two relevant categories.

I think Internet: Web Design and Development: Designers: Freelance: I category no editor has touched from a year and half year.

First you wait for 6 months and after 6 months website people knows its still waiting for review and wait again next 6 month. NOBODY knows after 1 year same site will be listed or not ...even when everybody knows how important is ODP listing. (here i m not talking about our site. Talking about general sites and listing in one or two category listing)

Consider all editors about this general view. :)

Apologies for any implied rebuke. It was not intended.

You could very well be listed in both catgories -- Regional and "Topical" (other than Regional) listings and submissions do not interefere with each other.

I'm afraid that you are going to have to wait the required 6 months from your last status check (11-04-2004) to get another one. That would be on 5-04-05 (May 4, 2005).

I still see no change in status. Sorry not to have better news. :(

You may ask again in 6 months (9 November 2005).
