Devine9 Posted February 12, 2004 Posted February 12, 2004 I noticed that http://www.abacus.ca has been listed in the ODP more than once.. Once as Abacus and a second time as Abacus.ca ? Is this allowed?
bobrat Posted February 12, 2004 Posted February 12, 2004 If one is in http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/Designers/Dynamic_and_Multimedia/A/ and the other in http://dmoz.org/Regional/North_America/Canada/Ontario/Localities/T/Toronto/Business_and_Economy/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/ Yes, that would be ok. As a general but not absolute rule, one extremely usefull Regional listing is allowed, in addition to the other one. [ADDED] Oop forgot this. The other one in World is a definite bad event, apart from anything else it's in English. The ODP Police are on their way. And actually this thread would be better in Abuse Reporting Thanks.
bobrat Posted February 12, 2004 Posted February 12, 2004 I believe you will find in a few days, that the site in World is still there, but pointing at the correct URL which is now not in English, and it's different from abacus.
