So an editor can put a site in multiple categories, would this not get the site removed.

Of course not ebay and yahoo have thousands of listings.

Well maybe if I could figure out a way to become worth milli000000000000ns I could get that too.

Precisely, assuming no bad behavior on the part of the editor, and any other editor can come along and delete the additonal listings if they have a good reason for doing so.
