It was a joke of course, but even still, she will probably have me for dinner. :)

Well, idleplay, you have complimented my website and my avartar, and I thank you, but flattery will get you nowhere. :p

Inactive Editor Policy

I believe that an editor can be removed if they do not perform at least one edit every four months. I'm not sure on that, and I can't check the guidelines now. I'm pretty sure it's something like that.

In a former life I was an editall. After recovering from being partially paralyzed from a broken neck, I found that I was locked out of my login screen and categories. I assume it was due to my lack of activity, however, I can not say for sure how long that was. It does seem like it was longer than 4 months though.

Hope that helps. :)

Your account will remain active as long as you make an edit within a four month timeframe. Accounts expire if an edit has not been made in four months, even if you have logged in during that time period.

This is a quote from editorial guidelines.

If an account times out, you can request reinstatement, which is "virtually automatic" if there weren't major editing problems. Reinstatement of an editall is trickier -- metas don't create editalls, and so can't reinstate them. Root/admins will have to do that. But try to log in, and follow the "reinstatement" links.

Trust me the dogface you see as my avatar is much cuter than the real dogface.

As far as being hosted in Fort Payne is concerned, gee the location of your host has absolutely no bearing in Regional. No luck there.

Tried that but I have changed email addresses since and I am not sure the form works correctly due to this. I hope that was the only problem. I don’t know of any issues with my edits other that when I was falsely accused of “Cooling” a site that I owned. That issue was dropped when it was determined that the site was a not-for-profit site owned by a University.

Thanks

I'm sure you're very pretty dogbows ;)

What if, I visited Fort Payne, took you out to dinner and then wrote a site based on the evenings events, would that be suitable for your category? :p

idleplay, I have a favor to ask. Let's pick up the humor another place and time, and leave this thread for the more serious question at hand. Namely, the problem VegasMack has with reinstatement. I believe that it can be resolved, but it will be much easier if we are not displaying wit in between. Editors like to play as much as the next person, but there is a time and place for it, and now is the time to stop this one. Thanks for your understanding.

Sorry - Which section would be best for me to ask you out on a date? Would it be Adult or General ODP issues? If you could point me in the right direction that would be great.

he he only joking - i've got work to do 1am and i'm still at it, the joys of PHP.

Sorry for posting here you guys, I hope your reinstatement issue gets resolved... and if you do get back in, check out my site :p

Bye bye!

Well, technically VegasMack should have posted about his problems in a new thread instead of effectively hijacking this one so the original topic of the thread was already muddied. But, yes, further muddying is not going to help.

Editall Reinstatement

My apologies motsa.

It started out as attempting to answer a posted question on how long before an editor was locked out, but you are correct. It should have stopped at my answer and yes there is a more appropriate thread for my last 2 post.

Thanks,
Mack
