A business that has online shopping for unique products and that ships internationally should be eligible for a listing in the Shopping/ branch.

I quickly looked at your site, and it appeared to qualify, but as I tried to look more closely, I started to get "connection refused" errors.

Right now the editing side is down, so I can't tell you how many sites are awaiting review in the category.

In answer to your other questions: there is no order "queue" in each category - an editor may sort the unreviewed sites in whatever order he or she chooses - alphabetical by title, alphabetical by URL or by submission date. So position in a queue is meaningless.

And, to your last question, as you will see if you notice the similar questions being asked and answered in this thread, editors are volunteers - they do as much or as little as they feel like. Therefore it is impossible to give an idea of "time to review".

Six months might seem like a long time to you, but it certainly is *not* a long time for a site to be awaiting review in the ODP. (Based on some categories I have been visiting).

This isn't to say that the situation is one we're happy about, however - but given the number of editors we have, we can't do much better. The fact is that the number of submissions we receive require a lrger number of *good* editors to sort them out, which is why we are always asking for volunteers.

My advice: Be more Patient.
(Probably not what you wanted to hear, but that's about all the advice I can give)

If this is the most appropriate category for the site (and I am not saying whether it is or isn't), then submitting to another category would be counter-productive, since it would end up getting moved to the original category.

Please recomend me a category, this site is the official company site however it is an online shopping site it offers dead sea cosmetic products. As i understand dubmitting to a non local area won't delete the submition to a local one, for now i submitted only to local directory.

How often does DMOZ update?

Normally it's just a matter of some seconds up to some days until the public pages update. Now it takes a bit longer due to hardware updates.
