No, we do not send out any form of notifications. Sorry.

Your statement on "notifications" is understood; however, how do I determine the status of this site submission dated originally submitted 5/3/03? Thanks.

Oops, sorry, meant to give you an update at the same time. My bad.

As of today, no editor has reviewed the site. It has not been accepted, declined or moved. It is, like you, waiting patiently.

Echievements Status Request

Greetings!

This represents my standard 6 month inquiry on the status of http://www.echievements.com.

Would you be open to providing me with a status report? To the best of my knowledge, I have not asked for at least six months and started my inquiries in June of 2003.

Thanks for your help.

Sincerely,

Ray Randall

Thanks for your help; does it seem unusual for this to take two years? Should I consider resubmitting or just hope for the best? For a while,Echievements was among 50 sites to be reviewed within its category.

Just curious and appreciative of your help.

I see no change in status of your suggestion. Sorry not to have better news. :(

You may check again in another 6 months.

Echievements Reply

Thank you for your reply. I will inquire in October. Tell me, does it take many years to get a review? Or does this suggest that the site does not qualify for inclusion? If it is just a matter of hoping and waiting, I will wait. Sincerely, Ray Randall friday

It depends on the category. I once saw a site waiting from 2000, and I've only been editing since late 2003.

Echievements category

May I seek your favor for one more question, and in advance, thanks for answering.

Would it make sense to change the category for echievements.com? Echievements provides an article library with multiple category resources.

Thanks for your help.

Sincerely,

Ray Randall

Ray,

I understnad what you are asking, and have a pretty good idea as to why you are asking.

What you are asking could be highly counterproductive.

Imagine the following:

We do as you ask and move your suggestion to a new category. An editor comes through and decides to lcean up the old category. Some months later a different editor cleans up the new category, and upon viewing your site, decides that it is in the wrong category and moves it back where you originally submitted. But you have missed what was possibly the only editor visit in the next 18 months.

That's why, once a site is submitted, we are loathe to arbitrarily move it, as teh submitter is usually better off having an editor actially review the site, that way if it gets moved, it is highly likely that it will be moved to the correct cateogry and won't get moved again.
