That seems fair enough, I put a <meta name="robots" content="noindex, nofollow"> onto the page to stop it appearing in search engines. If this is the problem then I'll have the pages removed completely.

I understand that from an editors point of view you have to be suspicious, could you please tell me what steps I need to take to get these sites listed as separate services.

Thanks,

Mobell.com is not a re-direct to Mobal, these are two separate companies. The link from Mobell.com is for American visitors, as Mobell (based in the UK) can not serve Americans.

Please could Mobell be re-listed, the two sites offer different types of services to different customers. They are unique in content.

I came onto this forum for guidelines and advice so that these site could be listed properly, a lot of what you read about submissions is un-true. Thank you for your assistance.

Any further advice much appreciated.

mobell.com and mobell.co.uk will not be re-listed. Both of the sites carry identical content to that found on the mobal sites, and one of them shows a remarkable similarity in design, even going so far as to use the same file names.

I understand mobell.com and mobell.co.uk not being listed together, but the sites represent Mobell Communications, a different company to Mobal.

Could you please re-list just one, Mobell.co.uk or Mobell.com (whichever you feel is most relevant), as these sites are for UK residents.

Thanks

Just to clarify:

Mobell.com and mobell.co.uk are the same company, selling (obviously) the same products. We will not be listing both of them.

Mobell.com is a direct copy of mobalrental.com. Since it has no unique content, it will not be listed.

That's fine, I agree with you on Mobell.com.

But Mobell.co.uk has totally unique content to Mobal rental, it offers different hire solutions and products and is aimed specifically at UK residents. Surely this site is within the ODP guidelines and should be listed as well as mobal rental. It is a totally different site.

If www.nokia.co.uk & www.nokiausa.com can both be listed in ODP why can't mobalrental.com (us site) and mobell.co.uk (uk site)?

Thanks,

I wasn't suggesting that either be deleted. I was more curious as to how many there are listed and how many Geoffs Cape thinks should be listed.

There could be more for all I know. The two I asked about were on the first page of a google search. Didn't look any further, other than to check if they were actually listed on dmoz.

As you asked guys,

These are the sites with unique content, that I feel should be listed in Dmoz, according to the guidelines of unique content. I am not arguing about the other sites.

www.my-international-cell-phone.com
Sells international phone packages - this content is not repeated anywhere else.

www.mobell.co.uk
Hires international phone packages to UK residents. Several rental services are unique to the uk site. And the prices and delivery details are different (as they would have to be).

And Mobalrental, that's already there. Offering rental phones to US residents.

I don't want multiple listings of duplicate sites, I just want the main three sites in the appropriate categories. The above sites are all unique in content and what they offer.

Dfy: I can give you a list of unique pages/services for each site if required.

Thanks,
